RBD Palm Olein

RBD Palm Olein refers to Refined, Bleached and Deodorized Palm Olein.  At first crude palm oil is mechanical extracted by crushing the fruit of the oil palm tree. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is then refined to make it edible.  The next process is fractionation which separates the palm stearine (solid) from the palm olein (liquid).  The RBD Palm Olein can also be further processed in order to get the different grades or Cloud Points.

RBD Palm Olein is clear golden yellow in colour and liquid at room temperature.

Its good oxidative stability and unique fatty acid composition makes RBD Palm Olein a highly suitable cooking oil especially for frying. It is commonly used as a frying oil by in the food industry:  snacks, ready-to-eat foods, restaurants, hotels, etc. It is also used as a raw material to produce margarines and shortenings.
