ISOPROPYL MYRISTATE (MYCOL-IPM) is made from vegetable based Myristic Acid and Isopropyl Alcohol primarily used for cosmetic. It is colorless and mild in odor used in bath oils, shaving lotions and others where high emollient concentrations are required. Isopropyl Myristate is readily absorbed by the skin and lessens the greasy nature of cosmetics while giving them a sheer, slick feel.
ISOPROPYL PALMITATE (MYCOL-IPP) is made from vegetable based Palmitic Acid and Isopropyl Alcohol. It has excellent emollient and spreading properties and exceptional oxidative stability which makes it ideal for cosmetics use. It is widely used as the main vehicle component in a range of cosmetic applications. It is also an effective carrier for many cosmetic and topical pharmaceutical ingredients.
