Coconut Manufacturers Group: PH Lacks Facilities to Process High Value Products

There is a need to improve the Philippines’ existing supply chain to boost the country’s coconut industry. In this interview, the United Coconut Association of the Philippines points out Manila lacks facilities to convert raw material into products like make-up and medicine. The group suggests that foreign ownership limits be eased to allow more businesses to invest in the local coconut industry.
